Privacy policy
Effective date: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Infinite Education ("we", "us"), the operator of the website infinite.education and its programming interface, collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. It applies to all use of the website, to the use of your content by other users, and to connections you establish with AI assistants (for example, ChatGPT) through our interface. By using the service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Use.
1. Data we collect
Account information
To create an account we ask for an email address and a password (stored only as a hash). Instead of a password you may sign in with Google or VK; in that case we receive the identifier, name, and email address that you consent to share with those providers. Providing your real name is never required.
Learning and content data
The service stores the skills, skillsets, exercises, and Challenges you create, and your learning progress: which skills you have studied, your self-assessed or measured level, completion status, and related timestamps. Interactive exercises may contain widget code and images that you upload.
Payment information
Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider YooKassa. We receive the subscription status and payment identifiers from YooKassa, but we never receive or store your full card details.
Technical information
When you visit the site we automatically receive your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system characteristics, language preference, the referring page, and the date and time of each request. We use the IP address to infer an approximate region for language selection (for example, Russian or English) and for security purposes such as abuse and fraud prevention. We log errors and crashes, including through the error-tracking service Sentry.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and equivalent local storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, to remember your language preference, and to protect the service against abuse. We also use Google Analytics, only with your consent, to understand aggregate usage of the site. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
You can accept analytics cookies, keep only necessary cookies, or change your choice at any time.
Information from AI connectors
If you connect the service to an AI assistant through our programming interface, the assistant acts under your account using an authorization token that you grant. Search requests, content drafts, and results exchanged during such use are processed to fulfill your instructions and are attributed to your account. Creating or changing content through a connector requires your explicit authorization and is covered by the same rules as doing it on the website.
2. How we use data
We use the information described above to:
- provide the service: accounts, learning content, progress tracking, exercises, and Challenges;
- let users publish, find, and reuse skills, skillsets, and exercises, and compare learning progress;
- process subscriptions and payments through our payment provider;
- send service emails such as address confirmation and password resets;
- keep the service secure, prevent abuse, spam, and fraud, and investigate violations of the Terms of Use;
- understand aggregate usage and improve the service.
3. What is public by design
Infinite Education is a public knowledge base. Published skills, skillsets, and exercises are publicly visible and reusable, and your learning progress for a skill is displayed publicly on the related pages, including your user name. Draft exercises and Challenges that you have not published are visible only to you (and to platform administrators for support and moderation purposes). Do not include personal information in public content that you do not want to be public, and choose your user name with care.
4. Sharing of data
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers that help us operate the service under confidentiality obligations: hosting, Google Analytics, Sentry error tracking, YooKassa payments, and email delivery.
- Sign-in providers (Google, VK) when you choose to authenticate through them.
- Legal reasons: when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
- Business transfer: if ownership of the service changes, personal information may be transferred subject to this policy.
- With your consent in any other case.
5. International transfer
We operate globally, and our hosting and service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
6. Data retention
We keep account and content data while your account exists. Public contributions remain part of the public knowledge base after you delete your account, because the service is built on publicly reusable content; if you want published content removed, contact us and we will remove it, except where we are legally required to keep it. Technical logs are kept for a limited period consistent with security and legal obligations. Payment records are kept as long as required by accounting rules.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to processing, subject to applicable law (including the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation and similar laws). To have your account and personal data removed, use the user data removal page or email privacy@infinite.education. We answer requests within a reasonable time and never charge for them.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We store whether you have confirmed being 13 or older, declined to confirm, or have not yet been asked, together with the time of your answer; connecting the service to an AI assistant requires a confirmation. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will never ask you for your password by email; report any such request to privacy@infinite.education.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. If a change materially affects your rights, we will announce it on the site in advance. The effective date above shows the current version.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data: privacy@infinite.education. General support: support@infinite.education or the contact page.
