Terms of use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of infinite.education, a service for describing what people know and how they learn it. Infinite Education ("we", "us") maintains a public knowledge base of skills and skillsets (graphs of skills), exercises (single tasks used to train or check one skill, including interactive widget-based exercises), and Challenges (multi-task games built from exercises). Please read these Terms carefully; by using the service you accept them.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You may browse public content without an account. To create content, track progress, or connect the service to an AI assistant, you need an account registered with a valid email address or a Google or VK identity. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA), or have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account, your password, and all activity under your account, and you must be legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create: skills, skillsets, exercises, Challenges, and any text, code, or images you upload ("your content"). You are legally responsible for your content and must have the rights to publish it.

By publishing content, you grant everyone a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to reuse, redistribute, modify, and build upon it, including commercially, under the CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication. This free license is the foundation of a public knowledge base. Draft content that you have not published stays private; we use it only to provide the service to you.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • harass, threaten, defame, stalk, spam, or deceive other users, or infringe anyone's privacy;
  • post unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, obscene, or infringing content, including content that violates copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • post malware, malicious code, or content that harms the service or its users;
  • misrepresent the authorship or source of content, or post content on behalf of others without disclosure;
  • access the service through unauthorized or automated means, circumvent rate limits or security measures, or disrupt the infrastructure;
  • probe or scan the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • use AI assistants or connectors to create or mass-produce content that violates these Terms, or to access other users' private data.

We may remove content that violates these Terms, and suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them.

4. AI-assisted content

Content on the service may be created with the help of AI assistants through our programming interface or otherwise. AI assistance does not change your responsibilities: whatever creates or publishes content under your account is your content, and you are responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness, and quality before you publish it. Do not publish unverified content at scale.

5. Paid subscriptions

Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions billed through our payment provider YooKassa. Prices, renewal, and cancellation are shown at checkout. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable; billing disputes and refund requests go to support@infinite.education.

6. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, email legal@infinite.education with a description of the work, the allegedly infringing material, and your contact details. Where appropriate, we remove infringing content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

7. Third-party services

The service integrates third-party services such as sign-in providers, payment processing, analytics, and AI assistants that you choose to connect. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party content or services.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site in advance, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time via the user data removal page. After deletion your public contributions remain available under the license in section 2, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms or the law.

10. Disclaimers

Highlighted for emphasis. The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Content, including skill descriptions and learning progress, is for general informational purposes only and is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice; seek a qualified professional where such advice is needed. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

Highlighted for emphasis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infinite Education will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for all claims is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Where applicable law does not allow these limitations, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably by contacting support@infinite.education.

13. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent. These Terms are written in English; translations are for convenience, and the English version controls.
