Digital marketing is the activity of creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings via digital channels - the Internet, mobile devices, social media, search engines etc - that have value for customers, clients and society at large.
Main differences between classical marketing and digital marketing:
- dramatically reduced response time
- wider methods of delivering: images (with rich animations), video, audio, banners, textes (pure ads or native ads)
- possibility of pro-active interaction with client
- if client is interested, it is possible to provide client with more information about product
- client could be instantly navigated to the target action
